Call for Articles

AJET's second issue of 2003 will focus on
Technology-supported learning communities
Sub-themes may include (but are not restricted to):
  • Creating and sustaining technology-supported learning communities.
  • Learning communities lifecycles
  • Community member roles
  • E-moderation for technology-supported communities
  • Social interaction within the technology-supported community
  • Evaluation methods and models for communities
  • Progress indicators and learning outcomes found within technology-supported communities
Key dates:
  • Extended abstract due 31 January 2003
  • Selection of abstracts and notification of authors by 28 Feb 2003
  • Full articles due 16 May 2003
  • Referees feedback distributed to authors by 16 June 2003
  • Final corrected copies of articles for publication due 14 July 2003

Abstracts should be approximately 500 words Full papers should not exceed 5000 words.

The preferred formats are Word (any version) for Windows or Macintosh, or Rich Text Format. Word files written by other software (eg StarOffice) may be submitted. The attachment should be MIME compliant (for example, use Eudora or Netscape or similar, to attach and send). Other formats may be acceptable subject to prior consultation with the Editors.

Abstracts and full articles for this issue should be submitted as email attachments, addressed to Lori Lockyer (use filename ajetsi-firstauthorname.doc where 'firstauthorname' is first author's family name, no spaces)

Abstracts or full article submissions which are not closely consistent with the theme, or do not fit within the size limits for 19(2), 2003 (7 to 9 articles) may be referred to AJET's regular reviewing process for 19(3), or re-invited for 19(3) or a special extra 19(4), 2003 if warranted.
