Sponsors are important to the ongoing sustainability of the vibrant ascilite community. ascilite offers a comprehensive, integrated suite of sponsorship opportunities that enable sponsors to choose the option best suited to their purpose. These include sponsorship of the annual conference, the prestigious ascilite international awards, the Community Mentoring Program, ascilite research grants and other activities.

NetSpot has been a long-term sponsor of ascilite with its founder, Allan Christie, an ascilite Fellow, registering the ascilite domain name in 1993 and establishing ascilite's website in the same year.

NetSpot provides a range of professional services including AARNet-based managed hosting for over 2,000,000 users, technical support, training, content migration, customisation and helpdesk. NetSpot is an official Moodle Partner in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong and is a Blackboard Collaborate partner in Australia and New Zealand.

In 2012, NetSpot, Moodlerooms and Blackboard joined forces to form the foundation of a Global Open Source Services Group, supporting open source education projects including Moodle.

Blackboard provides ascilite with a complimentary Collaborate account that allows us to deliver meaningful webinars to ascilite members.
